Frenzy Friday!!

Woohoo! We made it through another week.. seriously, Friday's are the best! So much has been going on this past week. It's been quite the frenzy ... I think 'frenzy' is seriously my new favorite word. I can't stop! If you're getting sick of it, I apologize so let's see how many times I can say it today, and hopefully it'll be out of my system :)

One of our newest artists, AM TAXI, is doing a big show at Henry Fonda's MusicBox in LA tomorrow night (Saturday). Come out to support them and rock hard to their tunage. They're a great new act so jump on this band taxi, err wagon? early! They'll be opening for Billy Talent!

The Beatles RockBand has been kicking GuitarHero 5's hiney. To further promote these remastered classics, we're going to be launching a new Beatles Lifestyle project for the album. It's time to recreate the Beatle Frenzy.. i mean.. BeatleMania.. by setting up displays in high end bars and restaurants. The winner who does the best job receives an exclusive boxset that pretty much includes the entire Beatle catalog. Keep an eye out for the project! It's definitely something to Twist N Shout about ;)

Also, Massive Attack is doing a European tour right now from Scotland to Moscow, Holland, Paris, and more until the end of November. Their newest EP entitled "Splitting the Atom" is due out October 6. A little more than a week from today! It features 4 new songs that are sure to be massive... ok, that pun was horrible haha.

With the close of Summer comes Fall. For most, that means falling leaves, cold weather, and Fall shopping. The street team wants to help keep you from freezing so we're offering a riveted black leather jacket as a prize for the Alice in Chains lifestyle project. Up your cool factor with this hot item in your closet. Also be sure to keep posting on your twitters, facebook, myspace, etc for the current ShareThis project. It's so easy that you can probably knock out a few in the amount of time it takes you to recite the alphabet. So get up, get active, win this jacket, and you won't have to run around for warmth again.

If you haven't seen the new video Ali from A Fine Frenzy made for you, you need to go check out her freestyle right away! You'll be BLOWn AWAY from her witty dedication. Also, I finally figured out how to cut up the 42 minute video of her Long Beach performance so expect those twitvids reaaaaaal soon. In the meantime, enjoy this pic of Brad and Mark meeting her. It was one of those "Oh wait, it's taking video!" awesome awkward moments haha.. Her tour starts late October so check the dates and sign-up!

On Tuesday morning, Dave Koz caused quite the frenzy in front of the tower. The road was shutdown, red carpet was rolled out, and he put on quite the show. Barry Manilow, Dave Grohl, Kenny G, and even Bob Saget showed up to support him. Luckily our buds from @capitolstudios snuck a pic of the madness .:coughfrenzycough:.

Cheli had the pleasure of going down to FIDM for Priscilla's fashion show premiere at the Torrid event last night. The Hogans were in full force as Nick and Linda watched Brooke Hogan perform right before our girl Priscilla! Priscilla worked the Torrid pink carpet in support of Breast Cancer. Priscilla was nice enough to retweet our pics with her own commentary. Here's a few shots of her before the show, working the carpet, and killing it on the runway. She was nice enough to retweet our pics and add her own commentary. 1) "i was sooooo nervous!!" 2) "snap snap" haha P.S...check out that first photo of Priscilla wearing GOLD SNEAKS! You can win a pair by participating in the "I Ain't A Doll" online project!

Also, The Almost tour started this week with This Providence. They've put up a new track, "Lonely Wheel," on their MySpace so give that a listen. Before last night's show Aaron wrote a new blog. Being the food connoisseur that he is, you can read his review about some burrito truck here. The tour kicked off strong so be sure to give Mark a shout out if you want to cover a show near you.

Twitter is seriously such an amazing social media.. . can't stop twitjacking pics but yesterday Saosin got to sit front row at the WWE match in Tulsa. It must've been such an insane (frenzy) throwdown. I can't help but picture them as "guests" on MTV's old Celebrity Deathmatch show. You know.. the one with clay action figures? haha

Well this oughta hold you over for the weekend so til next time.. have a Fine Frenzy Friday .. yeah, try saying that 5 times fast ;)

This week is all about the girls! After Priscilla Renea tears it up at Ohio State's Buck-I-Frenzy tomorrow, she'll be on her way to visit us in Los Angeles for the Torrid House of Dreams Fashion Show at FIDM on Thursday (to all you reality show junkies, yes, that's where LC formerly of the Hills "went" to school haha). The show features 7 models selected from a nationwide search, and is in support of The National Breast Cancer Foundation. Priscilla will be killing it with "Dollhouse," the perfect girl anthem.

Also, Lolene is stopping by very soon for a cupcake eating frenzy at the tower. Here are the goods...

You know you want some of this.. I mean, the christmas tree won't be up.. but there may be lights in cupcake formation . Only one way to find out :) It won't be a party without you so come to the tower, meet Lolene, dance to "Sexy People" and add some red velvety goodness to your life. As Kate Hudson would say, Frost yourself! There's nothing sweeter than Lolene and Sprinkles. No date set yet, but RSVP by emailing LOLENERSVP@GMAIL.COM

The New York team is going to support our boys, Green River Ordinance, tonight at the Highline Ballroom. I think we're going to start an LA vs NY twitpic war or maybe start twitpic scavenger hunts at shows. Do you guys have any suggestions? What do you want to see? We tweet for you, not just our sanity ;)

Chew on that while I chew on lunch. PS - the new Snoop track is burning up. Drop it LIKE it's hot? Understatement. It's scorching. Don't worry, your inner gangsta will be bumpin' this soon enough! And keep an eye out for a guest blogger soon. You know how we roll... street team's full of surprises!

Picture Frenzyyyy

It's been a SaAlmost kind of week!

As promised, here are some pictures of our adventures with the guys.

In case you don't know, a lot of new Best Buy stores have built-in music stores now. Such a rad thing! Saosin's been doing in-stores since the release of their album, "In Search For Solid Ground." Here's a shot of the action going down...

Justin tore it up on the infamous keytar.

Cheli had a great time watching the improptu jam sesh of "Take On Me." Eventually Chris and Alex joined in with the singing and percussion

...doing their own rendition of Vanessa Carlton's "A Thousand Miles." Chris Sorenson was channeling Chris Martin while bursting into song as some random kid played Coldplay on the keyboard haha.

And as previously mentioned in last week's blog, The Almost was in town shooting the latest music video. Here's a quick iPhone snapshot... seriously, what would we do without our amazing smartphones? Haha.

Also, did anyone catch MTV's VMAs on Sunday night?! Wow, this industry just gets crazier and weirder haha. Katy Perry did an awesome job performing with Joe Perry! If you haven't seen the show I highly recommend you start watching it now haha.

More new stuff coming soon!! Stay tuned...

Wow. 9/11 does not seem that long ago. Lots of respect, appreciation, and tweeting of "NEVER FORGET" going around. Can't believe we've made it this far...

A FINE FRENZY
She's just started touring again to promote her album "Blow Away." Mark and Brad caught up with her last night at Fingerprints in Long Beach, CA. They were blown away [ ;) ] by her Michael Jackson cover and the new material. Afterwards, she met up with fans. It was quite the turn out!! Also, we've got the whole performance on tape so expect yet another wicked video. Cheli's been going video editing CRAZYYYYY lately with all of the artists dropping by.

THE BEATLES !!!!
Wednesday (9.9.09) will forever go down in history as the BEATLES day. And thanks to Cali Governor Schwarzenegger, it's official like a referee whistle!! Take a look at this...

We celebrated with a breakfast banquet in the EMI Courtyard and everyone got mystery packs of various Beatles albums. Everyone ran around like kids trading Pokemon cards trying to trade albums and swap deals haha. Beatles Rockband also came out, and it was an INSANE party on the 12th floor. I've never seen so many people crowded into one conference room singing "Baby you can drive my car" and "I wanna hold your handdddddd" from the rooftops.

Aaron from THE ALMOST stopped by to do his cooking segment. He made fajitas and some kind of carameralized peach dessert? I'm not exactly sure but I hear it was delicious. He later joined Cheli and I in the Rockband party.

He nearly failed drumming and singing, but only because he tried to do BOTH AT THE SAME TIME haha. So much fun footage from that as well as from The Almost's latest music video shoot. More rooftop madnesssssss.

LOLENE also graced us with her presence. Be sure to check out the welcome video on her page.

Also, this whole week has been SAOSIN week with the release of IN SEARCH OF SOLID GROUND on Tuesday. They had a secret live performance at the PacSun in Newport Beach, CA to celebrate, and now they're keeping busy with in-store appearances and shows. Check out a video fo their acoustic performance, and some interviews on the pacsun site. http://pactour.pacsun.com/

Things are heating up for PRISCILLA RENEA. Not only did she turn 21 this week, but she's got Perez Hilton and Justin Timberlake tweeting about her !! Mr. SexyBack tweeted and posted this video on his official site..

and Perez was raaaaaaaving about the sugar addiction that is "Dollhouse."

JAICKO also did a stunna job out in New York.

All the Capitol artists seem to be taking over the world. It's going to be a great fall and ahhh can't wait for the weather to get colder! Alright Sexy People, have a great weekend ;)
